Lartresa Bryant
Southwest Middle School

Lartresa Bryant

As a secretary, Lartresa Bryant's prior experiences have shaped her philosophy, knowledge, and commitment to serving the faculty, staff, and students at Southwest Middle School.

Prior to working at Southwest, Mrs. Bryant was an Administrative Secretary at Myers Middle School, a substitute teacher at various sites, a substitute coordinator in the SCCPSS Risk Management department and a secretary at Groves High School. She has completed various job-related trainings and certifications, and has received the Family Career Community Leaders of American (FCCLA) Outstanding Parent Award for her community involvement.

Mrs. Bryant commits her time to her community through service-oriented activities including volunteer work for The Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity, the Red Cross Foundation's Dollars for Disaster, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for whom she helped raise thousands of dollars. Finally, Mrs. Bryant also volunteers with her church, Living Hope Community Fellowship Inc. as a Sunday School Teacher and a Prayer Warrior for their annual Prayer Walk.

Lartresa Bryant has previously served as the Instructional Support person of the Year for Myers Middle School during the 2010-11 and 2014-15 school years and feels honored to be chosen again by Southwest Middle School.
