The Davenport House Museum offers its Junior Interpreter training program during summer. The goal is to train interested high school students to become volunteer tour guides at the historic house museum. During training, students learn tour giving techniques as well as the history of the museum and the history of Savannah.
To qualify a student must like history, be willing to abide by the museum’s rules and have a desire to contribute to his or her community through volunteer service.
