What happens ifa Certificated Employee needs to resign

A resignation letter should be submitted to your principal or site supervisor and a copy submitted to Human Resources. It is up to the Superintendent to determine if the resignation will be accepted and you are released from your contract. An employee who resigns can normally expect to receive their final paycheck on the next regularly scheduled payday for the next complete pay cycle after the one in which they resign. This allows time for leave slips and other pay related items to be posted to the employee's final check. This check will usually include vacation and/or sick leave settlements that may be due to the employee.
