Lisa Linton, Ed.S.

AE Beach High School

Assistant Principal, Lisa Linton has a long standing and deep connections to Alfred Ely Beach High School.  As her parents before her, Mrs. Linton is a graduate of Beach High (class of ’87). As the baby of the family, she is proud to continue the legacy as her brothers, sisters, and niece and nephew walk the stage as graduates of Beach High School.  In 1997, Mrs. Linton continued her professional teaching career here at Beach High School when she joined the ranks of becoming a member of the A. E. Beach High Business Department.  Mrs. Linton remained with the business department serving a multitude of roles within the school before being promoted to Assistant Principal in the 2014-2015 school year.

Mrs. Linton’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Morris Brown College; a master’s in Business Education from Georgia Southern; and an education specialist degree in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in Educational Leadership.  Currently, Mrs. Linton is pursuing her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership through Georgia Southern.

Mrs. Linton has been happily married for 15 years, and they have two beautiful children, ages 11 and 14.  When asked about her life away from Beach High School, Mrs. Linton cites her church home, St. Philip AME Church on Martin Luther King Boulevard, as being a strong influence and an undying support in her life.

Mrs. Linton is totally committed to the students at Beach High School.  She lives and breathes professionalism in the way she interacts with her stakeholders. She works tirelessly to find new and creative ways to support student learning. Everyone at A. E. Beach High School appreciates the dedication, work, time and effort Mrs. Linton invests into our school.
