Welcome to our Savannah Early College website!

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System’s Savannah EarlyCollege Program is uniquely designed to provide high school students with an opportunity to earn a high school diploma and up to 45 college credit hours towards a bachelor’s degree. Savannah Early College serves a variety of students, including those who are first-generation college or traditionally underserved, with rigorous academic courses and a small supportive environment. Not only do students enjoy the benefits of coursework taught by specialized secondary teachers, students gain unique expertise from professors at Savannah State University, beginning their junior year.

An additional innovative feature of Savannah Early College is the Pathway offerings.  Students have a choice of either the Criminal Science Investigation Pathway or the Historic Preservation Pathway. Each high interest pathway provides students the opportunity to explore future careers in these areas through specialized coursework, hands-on activities, field exploration, internships, and community mentors.

Savannah Early College is truly a dynamic, small learning community!  This small high school experience is founded on the belief that ALL students can achieve at high levels, with the proper motivation and environment!
