Red Ribbon Week at Heard Elementary
We have some Red Ribbon week activities planned for our students in a few weeks.
Monday, 10/27: “Sock it to drugs”- Students may wear the socks of their choice to kickoff Red Ribbon Week.
Tuesday, 10/28: “I’m a Jean-ius, I’m Drug Free”- Students may wear Jeans. They must wear uniform tops with their Jeans.
Wednesday, 10/29: Team Up Against Drugs-Students may wear their favorite team jersey, or shirt to show that they are “teaming up against drugs”.
The shirt does not have to have a collar, but must be appropriate for school. If students wear a basketball jersey, they must wear a white shirt underneath. Bottoms must still be the dress code colors, navy blue or khaki.
Thursday, 10/30: “I mustache you not to do drugs.”- Students will be given a mustache to wear showing their support of Red Ribbon week.
Friday, 10/31: Book Character Parade
Please see additional information coming home from your child’s classroom teacher.
****For each event, students must bring in a can of food. We are collecting canned food for the Second Harvest Food Bank. The Food Bank is most in need of canned pasta at this time.
Thank you for your support of Red Ribbon week!
“I believe in me to be drug free!!”
