Board of Public Education Search Firm Seeks Public Feedback – Public Meetings Offered
Countywide Forums set at three locations on Thursday, February 23, 2017
With the retirement of longstanding Superintendent, Dr. Thomas B. Lockamy, Jr., coming at the end of the 2016-17 School Year, the Board of Public Education is conducting a superintendent search for the purpose of filling the district’s top position. Ray and Associates, Inc., an independent search firm, has been selected to assist the Board in the search process and will be in Savannah on Thursday, February 23, 2017, to offer public forums.
The community meetings are open to the public and all interested citizens are encouraged to attend. Ray & Associates representatives will host the meetings to gain input as to the top qualities desired in a Superintendent. Additional information will be provided relative to the search and hiring process.
The meetings will take place at the locations listed below and various times have been scheduled for the convenience of any interested stakeholder.
