School of Engineering Lottery Application Process

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System offers an online application, lottery, and registration process for those families interested in enrolling their child in a Specialty Program such as the School of Engineering at H. V. Jenkins High School.  The online application and registration system is a secure website that provides a convenient and quick way for parents to enter information.  This online system can be reached through the SCCPSS district website. The dates for the application window are shown below.:
 
Application Window Opens-Jan. 9, 2016
Application Window Closes-Feb. 1, 2016
Lottery-Feb. 25, 2016
Parents Notified of Lottery Results-Feb. 29, 2016
Appeal Process-March 1, 2016
Specialty Program Registration Opens-March 3, 2016
Waitlist Application Window Opens-March 7, 2016
Registration Closes-March 11, 2016
Waitlist Applicant Notification Begins-March 21, 2016
 
How to Apply:
1.  Determine if the student meets the eligibility criteria. (Refer to the Eligibility Criteria that is attached)
2.  Submit an application electronically @ sp.sccpss.com
3.  Await lottery results.  Lottery results are generated by email following the lottery to notify parents.
4.  Registration (Registration is required after a student is seated.)
