She started her career as an Assistant Project Manager for a Federal Government agency handling immigration cases.

Officer Daniels married and moved to Savannah, Georgia where she began working for the Savannah Police Department as an Administrative Assistant for the Special Operations Division and then moved to the Criminal Investigations Division.  She became interested in policing and   joined the force as a P.O.S.T. certified officer.  She worked the Patrol Division for three years then moved to the Criminal Investigations Division in the Juvenile Sex Crimes Unit. She left Savannah Metro in 2007 and became a Board of Education Campus Police Officer. Since becoming an officer with the Board of Education, Daniels has been assigned to Jenkins High School, Johnson High School, and Myers Middle School.
