Savannah Civic Center

Rehearsal –7:30 AM

(DOORS WILL BE LOCKED AT 7:30 AM--DO NOT BE LATE)

Ceremony –9:00 AM

(TICKETS WILL BE GIVEN TO SENIORS DURING PRACTICE--10 TICKETS EACH. EXTRA TICKETS WILL BE IN THE LOBBY OF THE CIVIC CENTER. PLEASE DO NOT STRESS--THERE ARE PLENTY!)

Wheelchair guests can gain access two different ways. There is a door on the parking lot side of the Civic Center – it will be clearly marked – that will be designated as a handicap entrance. There is also a lift on the Montgomery side of the Civic Center that goes from the lobby down to the floor. Each handicapped person can be accompanied by one person.

Dress for Graduation: 
Female attire is a black dress/skirt or dress black slacks (no denim), black CLOSED-toe dress shoes (toes should not be seen), and minimal jewelry. 
Dresses should be no shorter than 3 inches above the knee and no longer than the gown.  Shoes should not have a heel higher than 2 inches. 
Male attire is black dress pants, collared white dress shirt, dark tie and black dress shoes. Absolutely no tennis shoes, sandals or flip flops will be allowed. 
When in doubt, have an advisor check the dress and shoes during Graduation Rehearsal at school. 
DRESS REHEARSAL scheduled on May 16, 2018. 
 

PLEASE NOTE:  Any clothing item or accessory that is unduly distracting is a violation of the Code of Conduct and will not be permitted. Students not following this dress code will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. PLEASE DO NOT TEST THIS REQUIREMENT--YOU WILL NOT WALK ACROSS THE STAGE.

 

(Students will remain at the civic center until ceremony.)
