Senior Announcements: Senior Week Activities … The Home Stretch! May 14-18, 2018

Title

Senior Week Activities … The Home Stretch! May 14-18, 2018

Body

§By this date, Seniors will have finished their coursework , grades are finalized and they are anxious to get to the BIG EVENT!  Unfortunately, there is still work to be done.
§Graduation Practice – Every practice is MANDATORY!  Students who work will need to clear their work schedule for this week.  Each practice is important.  It’s not just “marching in and marching out”.  We cover many, many last minute issues for each of our Seniors (Transcript requests, exit surveys, military commitment forms and much more.)

Rehearsal ONLY:

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30 AM-10:30—ALL SENIORS WALKING ACROSS STAGE MUST ATTEND ALL PRACTICES—REMAIN UNTIL 10:30 AND LEAVE NHHS AFTER PRACTICE

May 14th--Sunrise Breakfast at 7 AM for Seniors who purchased Package A $220.  Western Sizzlin on Highway 80.  Parent Dinner Night--location--NHHS. Time is 6:00 PM for individuals that paid  for Package A $220.00 Senior Dues. Each senior is permitted to bring 2 guest to dinner. No additional seats are available.
May 15th- Senior Luncheon--ALL Seniors-  Luncheon is immediately following practice in the gym. Seniors must remain in the gym during this time.
May 16th: Graduation Dress Rehearsal. Award Ceremony immediately following rehearsal. Parents invited to attend. Tickets issued at this time.
May 17th & 18th: No School for SENIORS, except those that have to complete course work to graduate.

Seniors arriving before this time must follow their bell schedule.

§Graduation Tickets – This is when those highly sought tickets to the graduation ceremony are distributed!  How many?  We never know until Senior Week!  Last year, seniors received 10 tickets each. If you don't need that many, return what you don't use for us to distribute at the door.  There is always someone that will need more.  Extra tickets will be available in the lobby of the Civic Center by our staff – get there early to guarantee your tickets. DO NOT STRESS!
§Fines and Fees
qRemember that old soccer uniform you forgot to return in 9th grade?  What about that library book that’s been riding around in the back of your Jeep for 2 years?
qAny outstanding fines and fees must be cleared before your student is allowed to receive their diploma.  We can’t stop them from participating in the graduation ceremony BUT we can hold that diploma and final transcript until any outstanding fines or fees are cleared.

Expires
