The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Scholarship. Deadline is fast approaching. Must be mailed by Feb 5. It is for females only. There are 3 types of scholarships. One for academics (must have 90 GPA or higher) one for community service and one for Active Delta G.E.M.S members, This is a local scholarship so females your chances of winning are high.

2018 Julian & Jan Hester Memorial Scholarship. Is open to Georgia high school seniors who will be entering a Georgia college, university or technical college (two-year program or more) in the fall semester of 2018. Awards are based on academic merit and not financial need. The applications must be submitted to the Community Bankers Association of Georgia through a CBA member bank. Interested students, who may have received the application through their high school, can visit CBA's website, http://web.cbaofga.com/search, to verify which community bank is in their city. The student will then contact the bank and ask for sponsorship. Deadline April 6

Seniors -do you want a full time career after college, but also want to serve part-time in the Georgia Army National Guard? The University of North Georgia Military Scholarship (UNGMS) is an excellent pathway. It pays nearly all college expenses, and recipients actually make $30,000 - $40,000 over four years more than the cost to attend. There are 42 scholarships available per year.
