This is a message from Savannah-Chatham County Schools alerting you to several public meetings that will be held to gather public comment on the school district’s draft plan for a proposed ESPLOST III Project List.
A reminder that the first of the meetings is scheduled for tomorrow night – Tuesday, May 3rd at Hesse K8 School located at 9116 Whitfield Avenue. We invite the public to drop in between the hours of 4:30pm and 7:00pm. There will be no formal presentation. District Officials will be on hand to answer questions and provide additional information.
Additional meetings have also been scheduled for:
Thursday, May 5, 2016
East Broad K8, 400 East Broad Street
Tuesday, May 10, 2016
Woodville Tompkins High School, 151 Coach Joe Turner Street
Thursday, May 12, 2016
Beach High School, 3001 Hopkins Street
The meetings are open to the public and all parents and interested citizens are encouraged to drop in for information and to offer feedback. The final project plan will be provided to the School Board in July 2016 for adoption to pave the way for an eventual referendum on the November 2016 Ballot that would ask Chatham County voters for approval of the ESPLOST continuation.
Additional meeting dates will soon be posted on the district's website. Please check back frequently for updates by visiting www.sccpss.com.
